FAQ
What if I don’t have a site icon?
Without a site icon, the default WordPress logo displays. Set your site icon in Appearance → Customize → Site Identity. What size should my site icon be?
WordPress recommends 512x512 pixels minimum. The login page displays it at 84x84 pixels, so any reasonably sized square image works well. Can I use a different image than my site icon?
This module specifically uses your site icon. For a different login logo with more customization options, use the Login Page Customizer module instead.Does this affect anything else?
Only the login page. Your site icon continues to work normally for browser favicons, app icons, and other WordPress uses. Will this work on multisite?
Yes! Each site in a multisite network uses its own site icon, so each site’s login shows its unique branding. For complete login page customization (background, colors, custom CSS), use the Login Page Customizer module. This module is perfect for quick, zero-configuration branding.
